If that is the case, GEN4OLIVE project is launching its 2nd Open Call for SMEs Proposals on October 20th, 2022 in the topic of olive breeding plans. The Call will be open until January 25th, 2023. The total available budget for this call is €250.000.
SMEs can apply for funding up to €10.000 per Individual Project.

Which activities will be granted?
The Call for Proposals will fund olive breeding plan design and its validation activities.
The proposals must start from previous research results related to GEN4OLIVE project in order to design breeding plan by taking advantage of the existing olive genetic resources in and out of the Germplasm Banks, and by applying short activities to demonstrate the feasibility of breeding plan to be designed.
Who can apply?
An SME established in EU member states, H2020 associated countries or H2020 third countries who are interested in olive breeding activities. They are the end-users of Germplasm Banks: mainly breeders, olive farmers and olive oil or table olives producers etc.
Selected projects will enhance transfer between GEN4OLIVE partners and SMEs.
