GEN4OLIVE is an H2020 EU-funded action aimed at accelerating the mobilisation of olive genetic resources and fostering pre-breeding activities. By characterising a vast array of olive varieties and developing innovative tools, GEN4OLIVE bridges the gap between germplasm banks and end-users, promoting sustainable and resilient olive cultivation.

*The symposium is free of charge for GEN4OLIVE members and PhD students of the University of Cordoba. The fee of €30 per day for the NON-GEN4OLIVE members includes the cost of breakfast and lunch.

    Córdoba is well connected by high-speed train services with multiple departures daily:

    AVE & Avlo (Renfe) and IRYO High-Speed Trains:

      • Madrid-Córdoba: Approx. 1 hour 45 minutes
      • Málaga-Córdoba: Approx. 50 minutes
      • Seville-Córdoba: Approx. 45 minutes
